Speaker Topic for this Month:
“Mapping Geospatial Satellite Data to Google Earth”
Presenter: Angelina Tsuboi, KN6QAT
In this talk, we will cover practical methods for leveraging open-source satellite imagery to extract actionable insights about our planet spanning from climate change monitoring, agricultural optimization, and urban infrastructure planning. We’ll dive into how AI tooling and Large Language Models (LLMs) can be leveraged to supercharge this process, with a focus on DeepMind’s open-source AlphaEarth Foundations dataset.

Angelina Tsuboi is a programmer and security researcher with an interest in the intersection of satellite technology, artificial intelligence, and signals intelligence. She is currently an undergraduate student majoring in Electrical Engineering at Caltech and the founder of Stellaryx Labs, a research and development initiative focused on building autonomous space systems, electromagnetic defense tools, and AI-driven platforms for geospatial and orbital intelligence. She is currently interested in integrating artificial intelligence into signals intelligence operations for satellite, aircraft, and drone systems to enhance cybersecurity operations. In addition, she is currently working alongside Dylon and Carlos to develop the W6TRW satellite ground station and enjoys partaking in field day activities and SOTA activations.
