The W6TRW Swapmeet started in the '60's as a "Tail Gate" event and has evolved to the monthly event that it is today. The same basic objective is still around as it was long ago, usually for a ham to gather up his/her old stuff that they no longer need, or perhaps to find something better, or to clear out a garage or hamshack. Computers have become a necessity for many, you'll see lots of computers and parts for sale as well. It is one of the largest continuous running Amateur Swapmeets in the country.

The Swapmeet is ALWAYS the LAST Saturday of every month RAIN or SHINE!!!! 

It is located at the corners of Aviation Bl. and Marine Ave. in the city of Redondo Beach, Ca. at Northrop Grumman Space Technology, click on the map link below.

We are often asked how does one get a space to sell, here are a few basic rules

1. You must hold be a current licensed Amateur Radio license and present it when applying, or be a active employee of Northrop Grumman and present the correct identification
2. Items for sale must be Amateur Radio related, (this is a constant enforcement issue) ie. radio equipment and associated parts, computer and related parts, and any other items that are reasonably considered part of the Amateur Radio hobby.
